Encounter GOD .. Connect .. Serve Others

FUMC Royse City loves hosting this multi-denominational women’s retreat. Both Ella McDonald and Jackie Payne are returning to lead this event.  The theme this year is "The River of Life" with some powerful messages about how life can sometimes be a struggle but the Lord is always there for each of us.  The dates this year are March 2-3 at Sabine Creek Ranch.  Registration deadline is Feb 20 and they can fill up (only 80 slots)-- so register early. Save the date and tell a friend!

We usually have several UMW ladies from our church attending and would be glad to have additional ladies from our church attend. The cost is $80 (for overnight) or $65 (no overnight), and all the details are on the flyer (see link below or click on image on the right). Make a check out to FUMC-Royse City. You can register directly or turn in the information at a UMW meeting. Depending on interests we might have a car pool from the church. (It's about a 40 min drive from Lucas). Checkin starts at 4PM on Friday with dinner at 6PM and runs till 4PM on Saturday.

The mission project for this year’s retreat will be Promise House, which serves as a beacon of hope to teens in crisis in the Dallas area. Promise House embraces homeless,runaway and at?risk teens, giving them needed support,encouragement and hope to live a better life.

Hope you can attend this retreat and build up some great relationships with the ladies from our church and others, but mostly with God.
